WE AIM TO

To provide members and the community the opportunity to participate in Lawn Bowls, competitively and socially, to provide an active, welcoming community facility & to maintain the integrity of the club at the highest level.

Have all Pennant sides play finals.

COVID – Keilor Bowls and Community Club will adhere to all requirements applied by the Government to ensure all members are safe and we are able to open and re open the club.

SMOKING –   Please be mindful, if smoking, of other members and guests.  Keilor Bowls and Community Club has established designated smoking areas around the club. Please use these areas. 

LANGUAGE   All members are required to be mindful of their language at all times. Offensive language will not be tolerated.

FIRST AID –  Location – Our First Aid Equipment is located through the main entrance of the Clubrooms, on the wall beside the door to the Secretary’s Office.

Items available there:  Aid Kit – Defibrillator  – Telephone for 000 call

GENERAL  INFORMATION

Bar Trading Hours

Monday to Wednesday         4:00 to 7:00 pm

Thursday to Saturday            4:00 to 8:00 pm

Sunday trading may occur when special bowling events are conducted.

If you can volunteer one (1) evening per fortnight, or per month, during these hours please approach the Bar Director, who will organize a day to suit you.  The system is flexible and is valuable to the Cub’s operation.

Club Car Park – Limited parking is available via Mercedes Street.  Members are advised not to park in Mercedes Street itself. Please leave allocated spaces in car park vacant. Do not speed in surrounding streets.

Barcelona Avenue – Limited parking is available; members are advised to strictly obey the parking signs and restrictions.

Speed Limit – 5kph in all parking areas.

Dress Regulations

In the Clubhouse: Neat, casual attire must be worn. Members of the Management Committee have the authority to speak to any member on a matter of appropriate dress. 

On the Green: Keilor Bowls Club approved pennant uniform is to be worn for all pennant matches. The Controlling Body of all matches and games other than pennant will advise all players as to the dress requirements on the various event notification sheets throughout the season. eg. Pennant uniform or appropriate bowls attire for all other Club Matches whilst  Club Pennant uniforms for Club Championships Final Games.
